A fairly normal woman working as a barista in a coffee shop in [https://deusex.fandom.com/wiki/Prague Prague], if it wasn't for the fact 'Dahlia Mercer' isn't her real name.
==History==
Shortly before the [https://deusex.fandom.com/wiki/Aug_Incident Aug Incident] of 2027, Dahlia had her organic heart replaced with a prosthetic one, reasons unknown. Needless to say, something horrific took place during the incident that pushed her to move out of America and start over in another country under a new name.

It's during this struggling new begining that she meets Adam Jensen, and, with time, establishes a romantic relationship with him.

According to the author, Dahlia's mundane daily activities bring to Adam's hectic lifestyle a sense of normalcy.
