• Originally, only Vala's right arm and leg was augmented, reflecting the creator's own injuries (torn ligaments) in real life affecting their right side. They also expressed the desire to have them replaced in much the same way if they were to exist within the Deus Ex universe, even with the need to neuropozene. In subsequent written posts, the creator went further and decided to augment Vala's left arm as well.
