| about deus ex itself, the first game is very special to me. in 2022 i bought it, played for a bit and immediately refunded it. 2 years later in march, my new shiny laptop had its screen break for.. no reason. so i had to get it repaired, in the meantime i used an older laptop that i have to play DX1 because i went "fuck it why not" and holy shit why did i do that in 2022. i love DX1, and it's my personal favourite game of all time. whilst boards of canada might've been the start of evolving taste of music in 2023, deus ex started the game side of that evolution. killer7 in july, death stranding in september, most of remedy's library from november to december, then starting 2025 i finished up a bit more of suda51's library with NMH1 and 3 (nmh2 sucks, imo) and death stranding 2 around the end of june-start of july.
