Overview
Marie Suzuki is a character by zaiden, is the husband to Tatsuo Suzuki, and co-worker to Wade Walker
Surprisingly, she is also the half-sister to JC, Paul and Alex. With her DNA aligning only to the father's side. It's unknown how the sperm sample made its way to Nova Scotia, or that it even exists at all, as MJ12 kept the "Dentons" under a close eye, or really why it was even used without checking its history.
Personality
Marie tends to be quiet, except for anyone that she considers a friend. To the point where when she starts talking. Post-attack it's very surprising for Wade Walker as she never talked to him much before.
Otherwise, she's quite relaxed in dialogue. Even when being more intense, she keeps this air of stability. Notably when she asks Wade to make sure that Simons dies this time, as despite all of her built-up rage, she says exactly what she wanted to in a calmed manner.
Timeline
Everything story related should be taken with a grain of salt, it's still incredibly early and anything might be added, changed, or removed, along with overall being very minimal in story content. |
2028
Marie is born at Saint David's Regional Hospital, Nova Scotia, with Valerie Langley being the surrogate mother. Martin had gone sterile due to radiation as apart of an "accident" involving Page Industries.
2048
Marie joins DOORS as learning experience on the 5th of June, aged 19. Learning how to operate an infolink console, along with a bit of more hands-on experience with a live agent on a low-risk mission, but said to alert the more experienced staff if anything goes wrong. Overall, she quite liked it. Choosing to finish studies and work there. She also meets Tatsuo here, and become friends.
2052
Marie formally joins DOORS on the 15th of August. Working earlier on as an infolink operator. Unfortunately, the collapse hit DOORS very hard. The lack of communication burnt a lot of the foundation they had spent a decade trying to build, and 12 years trying to secure any sort of funding to even start it up. It stayed afloat, but a few things had to go.
2054
Tatsuo declares his love for Marie, which is reciprocated.
2056
Wade Walker goes missing, and Marie puts up a search effort to find him, however he showed back up on his own a week later, dressing on his cheek, saying he was kidnapped by an anti-nanoaugmentation street gang with scarily good technology, as they were able to shut down and reset his nanites.
2059-2060
Mid-way through the year, Marie proposes to Tatsuo. He accepts.
Marie and Tatsuo get formally married, starting their marriage celebration on New Years Eve, and letting it bring them into the new decade. Only family is invited, except for Morgan Ridge as they have him to thank for everything. Post celebration there's also a small party at DOORS before they were given 2 weeks off for marriage leave.
2062
After driving Wade Walker back to DOORS HQ, she leaves to go back home, only for an SOS to have been sent out, prompting her to call anyone with an infolink in the general area, with only Wade Walker and an unknown being communicated to. Despite the unknown, she says to get the helicopter keys in the safe of Morgan Ridge and that whilst she does know the code, the mechanism for revealing the safe had been changed due to a malfunction in the old one, also saying that she's on her way back.
After escaping, the helicopter requires refuelling, so whilst Marie stays behind to protect the helicopter just in-case, Wade Walker goes and does a few odd-jobs to raise a bit of money, whilst also helping people, unless he outright steals it, where she gets a bit annoyed at him. Once refuelled, they set off for Vandenberg, which since 2052 has become a sort of habitation spot due to X-51 developing the Gray Death. The scientists are mostly fine with that, but a few people occasionally do get too rowdy, and Wade Walker might deal with them whilst Marie talks and catches up with the scientists after the both of them explain what happened to DOORS.
THE REST IS TO BE DONE/FLESHED OUT MORE
Trivia

- Julie Redpoint is referring to both The Beach at Redpoint and Julie and Candy.

- Marie formally joined DOORS on the 15th of August, which is when Twoism was released.
Creator's Notes
St. David's Hospital, Nova Scotia is fictional. There is a St. David's hospital already in existence, but it's in the UK.
