Overview
A heavy "monster" mech with artificial intelligence, she was build as combat robot to fight the enemies of MJ12.
Appearance
Charybdis became the second big robot of Majestic 12 after Scylla. Unlike her sister, she is much bigger and heavier.
The Charybdis's mechanism is uniquely complex, and its high-quality armor made of one of the toughest metals allows it to be an effective tank and killing machine. She has rocket launchers and machine guns attached to her arms, like the MJ12 Commando, only with pointed tips for close combat and crashing objects. She has two long cables on her head, resembling the antennae of crustacean creatures, which can connect to giant computers to receive further information.
Behaviour
Despite the fact that Charybdis is the same AI as Icarus, Daedalus and Helios, she cannot speak, and "communicates" only by growling, resembling the roar of a monster.
Charybdis can be controlled, for example, remotely, and it can also execute commands without pilot control.
As planned by Bob Page and MJ12, Charybdis and Scylla were supposed to perform the most dangerous tasks, or sabotage the enemy. However, after Daedalus rebelled against his creators, he reprogrammed the system of two huge robots, which eventually rebelled against MJ12 themselves. But despite this, Charybdis and Scylla are aggressive towards the Denton brothers and their brothers in the person of Daedalus, Icarus and Helios.
History
Timeline
2020's
Charybdis mech began to be built sometime in 2028, but then her construction was suspended due to the collapse of Scylla, who was in critical condition after meeting with Silver, but then Adam also met with her, who completed the work on the mech.
2040's
In order not to repeat their past mistakes, the MJ12 continued her construction sometime in the 40s, after the complete restoration and improvement of the Scylla.
