Overview

Abducted by Majestic 12, Grayson was subjected to inhumane experiments designed to develop biological weapons for military purposes.

Rescued by Paul Denton and his team, he was trained as a member of the New Silhouette assault force. He also underwent therapy to deal with his mental trauma, including Amok's disease—a severe anger management disorder.

During his recovery, Grayson uncovered the covert political forces steering global events, gaining insight into the powerful factions behind the chaos. Aligning himself with the Denton family, he remained by their side, eventually forming a romantic bond with Paul.

Appearance

As a result of MJ12's experiments, Grayson's body was radically mutated beyond recognition, granting him the ability to metamorph.

The nature of his abilities, such as full radiation resistance, draws parallels between him and VersaLife’s genetically engineered creatures, and suggests a link to the same research behind the transgenic Grays.

Notably, he has no mechanical, physiopharmaceutical, or nanotechnological augmentations.

History

2020's

Grayson was born in Ålesund, Norway. His mother, Bruna Torgeyr, is a lecturer in engineering at the Ålesund University of Technology. His father, Høvard (Heward) Torgeyr, is a legal consultant in administrative matters at a private law firm in Ålesund.

Grayson is an only child in an average family. He completed all 13 grades at Ålesund School (19 years old).

2040's

After school, he moved to Oslo, where he passed the exams with honors at the University of Public Administration and entered the Faculty of Sociology.

After graduating from university at age 26, he moved to the United States as a junior specialist. Using his savings (salary, freelance, scholarship), he bought a small apartment on the outskirts of New York. With an excellent recommendation from the university, Grayson got a job at the Department of Health and Human Services.

Timeline

2050's

A year and a half after arriving in the States, people from MJ12 began secretly following him. They obtained information about him and his health through medical certificates that were sold for a lot of money by a private clinic where Grayson was examined.

Grayson wasn't the only one whose biodata was leaked, used, and discarded. Unfortunately for him, he was the perfect candidate for experimentation and testing. His genome was perfect, able to withstand the synthesized, underground-lab-bred P53 pathogen that turns a person into a fully controllable bioweapon.

Grayson and four others were kidnapped in the middle of a charity festival, where MJ12 faked their deaths by blowing up the street concert venue. Their documents were also forged. Through bureaucratic machinations, Grayson was also deprived of his status, job, and home.

At the seventh underground laboratory in New Mexico, he underwent the initial stage of culling. Grayson was given the number 180G (a letter of his name and a number were burned under his left collarbone with a laser scalpel). The patient was injected with a viral vector to test the immune system and antibodies. Grayson survived, but about 50 people died. After the third stage, only four of the 180 patients survived, including Grayson.

During the process of DNA splicing with the SPR-04 mutagen and subsequent research and experiments, Grayson showed aggression several times, tried to escape and attacked the service personnel. After another injury to the doctor, he was artificially put into a state of suspended animation using new-generation tranquilizers. During one of these beatings, he received a powerful electric discharge in the mediastinum between the lungs (on his body, in the center of his chest, there was a white "flower" from the burn, which has not healed to this day), which caused cardiac arrest and short-term clinical death, but the patient eventually woke up (after waking up, as a result, he had a gray strand of hair on his right side).

Between procedures, when the process of symbiosis of the mutagen with human DNA was underway, Grayson had marks applied to his face with the same laser pigmented needle (to calculate the location of the first changes). The oblique scar on his forehead appeared by accident, because the doctor's hand trembled with pain when Grayson tried to tear it. The other scars turned out smoother and more confident, since Grayson was already under the influence of psychotropic drugs. The marks on his cheekbones turned out to be correct, and the marks on his chin remained unchanged.

The energy armor was tested on Grayson, but it was not intended for him. Who it was created for and for what purpose is still unknown (even the Dentons could not find an answer to this question). Grayson only acted as a "dummy", since he perfectly matched the parameters of the armor. All that was known was that it was intended for an individual called Streibenger (whether this is a first or last name is unknown. It is known that it is connected with Germany).

During the final procedure, when the patient was conscious and stable, when he had passed the quarantine after a successful symbiosis, Grayson was to be put into an artificial coma, during which the process of destruction of the parietal and frontal lobes of the brain was to take place (deprivation of intellect, memory, comprehension, speech). But this procedure never began. An explosion occurred at the facility, people were killed. The facility was attacked by an unknown squad of agents (later it turned out that this was a squad led by Paul Denton. The squad included Billie Adams, Matthew Chain, Alex Denton, JC Denton). Billie and Matthew were to go to the upper levels to the archives and the server room, while all three Dentons went to the lower ones where the labs themselves, test chambers, cells, and procedure rooms were located.

When the laboratory went into emergency mode, all the doors opened due to the built-in evacuation protocol. Grayson did not see or know other test subjects, being in constant isolation. But before he was supposed to be put into a coma, the scientists had to do the last tests of the armor, because then there would be no new opportunity. However, Grayson escaped in this armor. He did not know where to run and simply moved intuitively. In one of the tunnels with almost no lighting, he first met Paul Denton, mistaking him for an enemy, not a savior. Grayson almost killed him, but Paul managed to get him to talk. And as soon as Grayson wanted to retreat, they started shooting at his back, it was JC. The armor withstood the bullets and ricocheted them, but this only angered Grayson. A couple of minutes later, Alex ran in and tried to stop the enraged monster with his brothers. After a small scuffle, Grayson lost consciousness due to a heavy blow to the head (one of the tunnel lining plates collapsed).

Paul made some decisions for himself and persuaded his brothers (who were against it from the very beginning) to take the rescued Grayson with them to the new base in Paris. Paul wanted to expand the combat team, but he was hesitant. After he saw what Grayson was capable of, he decided to accept him, make him a fighter and part of the team. Over time, his brothers' hatred and mistrust of Grayson changed to friendship and combat cooperation. They accepted him, trained him, helped him recover. They told him who MJ12 was, what they do and what they want. They also told him about other organizations and structures. Grayson after this became obsessed with hatred and a desire for revenge, and after some hesitation, he decided to stay with the Dentons, becoming part of their team and family.

After being rescued, Grayson learned that his parents accepted the death certificate and that they buried him (in fact, a fake corpse, very similar in appearance to Grayson). After that, the living son never saw his parents again, despite persuasion from the outside.

Paul Denton

Grayson avoided Paul at first, but then gradually began to show interest in him. They began to get closer (or so Grayson thought). After another joint mission, Grayson gently hinted and confessed his feelings to him. But Paul did not accept them, because at the time Grayson approached him, he was in a relationship. The brothers knew about this and only sympathetically supported Torgeyr. However, Paul's girlfriend helped Torgeyr in that she herself left her partner, betraying him and his brothers by accepting the faith and knowledge of the Illuminati, passing on some information that she learned from the organization led by Paul.

The second time, Grayson's monstrous form confessed his love instead of him, which barely resembled a human, whose instincts to kill dominated the human mind. The monster recognized Paul and refused to kill him again. After Grayson came to his senses and returned to his human form, he directly said that he loved him and did not intend to back down, even if he got hit in the face. But Paul suddenly accepted the offer, telling him that the girl had left him, and that he had actually been thinking about them for a long time. What to do, how to be. Paul did not know, but after Grayson's promise to help him, he accepted his feelings and since then they have been together.

Trivia

Grayson has a number of hobbies that he has remained true to even after his traumatic experience. His main interests are biology, jewelry, stonework, and singing—the latter of which he hides and only does when he is completely alone, while his other interests are shared with his friends and newfound family. Hobbies have found their place between missions and martial arts training.
