Being unaware of his origin and the nature of the Watchers group, Reese still sensed something unusual was going on.
At some point during or after 2029, Reese comes into contact with Jensen, aka Project Icarus, who was looking into The Watchers on behalf of the Juggernaut Collective. Jensen helps him figure out the truth and they end up working together.
