Overview
An artificial human created by White Helix Labs, Katie is described as superior both physically and psychologically than her peers, including Adam Jensen.
Augmented from an early age, she became acquaintanced with an Adam who, in this timeline, was adopted by Sarif after his family tragically died in a terrorist attack during Christmas.
Appearance
A pale, slim, black haired woman who's augmentations seems to be designed to blend seamlessly with the rest of her natural body.
Personality
She's loyal to David Sarif as he's like family to her, a thing she never had.
This very reason was one of the things that bothered her about Adam as he was "unappreciative" of the "support" and "love" Sarif gave him.
Timeline
2000's
Katie is created in White Helix Labs.
Adam Jensen's family is attacked in their home during Christmas when he was 10, rendering him nearly catatonic and forgetting the whole incident.
David Sarif adopts him and gives him an education. He also heavily augments him.
2010's
When she's 11, she meets for the first time with a 15 years old Adam Jensen. This first meeting wasn't a pleasant one.
Sarif hides the truth of what happened to the Jensens from Adam until he recovers from his catatonic state. When Adam asks and David tells him the truth, the teen becomes resentful and rebellious, acting out.
At 17, he begins working in Sarif Industries where he once again meets with Katie, who was hired as an employee. Due to the nature of her job, she often showed up to the Sarif household, becoming a frequent guest. They become friends, the first friend Katie ever had, in fact.
Eventually, friendship turned into attraction, and David noticed that to the naivety of the young pair. In an effort to help his son out, Sarif suggests Adam to confess his feelings, which enrages Adam like never before. He leaves the house to live in a dangerous, run-down apartment along his then girlfriend Megan Reed.
2020's
Even though Adam had left the household, he still worked as Security in Sarif Industries.
However, his perfomance began decreasing due to the self-destructive lifestyle he led living alone, while Katie kept rapidly rising, now showered with Sarif's attention. This brew feelings of envy and jealousy towards her, the fact that Sarif was gonna marry a woman named Clara didn't help his alienated psyche. Even though he didn't know who she was, he hated her all the same.
Still, Sarif invited his son to the marriage only for him to try sabotaging it by showing up drunk. Katie saved the ceremony by taking Adam out, where they had their last conversation. From there on, any good relations between them were gone.
Two years later, Adam dedicated his time into investigating the truth behind what happened that fateful Christmas night, and what he discovered disturbed him greatly: turns out it was Sarif who hired the terrorists to kill the Jensens, so then he could have custody rights over him. It was also him who sponsored White Helix, the laboratory that created both him and Katie.
No wonder he was heavily augmented at such an early age.
Revenge was the only thing that occupied Adam's thoughts, so he started getting rid of anything "Sarif", begining with his augmentations by replacing them with knockoffs. Then he killed his girlfriend Megan, who at the time still worked in Sarif Industries.
But that wasn't enough, he needed to get rid of the problem from the root.
He invited his adpotive father to a private reunion after two years of not seeing eachother, which rubbed Sarif the wrong way. He brought Katie along to bodyguard him if anything went awry, and it sure did.
Adam tried strangling Sarif to death, which Katie quickly averted by forcing him to fight her. During the struggle, and because she was enraged, she tried piercing Adam's chest with a blade. The attack then was thwarted by David, who got in the way in an effort to save his son, getting himself pierced instead.
Miraculously, the strike missed all vitals and David lived, while Adam landed squarely in a psychiatric hospital where he stayed for five long years.
During those years, his adoptive father visited regularly and was met with nothing but silence. One day, Sarif came along Katie holding hands, revealing they were soon going to get married.
A year later, Adam escaped and planned his next attack, now absolutely sickened of both of them.
Said attack took place in Panchea, Antarctica, where Sarif and Katie survived and Adam went missing.

- It's unknown what happenes to Clara as she was already married to Sarif when he decides marrying Katie.
