Overview

Wu's existence in both continuities differs from one and other.

Deus Ex's Wu was created before Deus Ex: Machine God's Wu.

His Deus Ex incarnation was used as a starting point to adapt his Machine God version and futher develop him to seamlessly work in that game's story.

Deus Ex

A young Red Arrow member who works as Yuen Kong's personal bodyguard due to his impressive fighting skills.

After 'encountering' a freshly arrived Paul Denton and continuing to meddle with his investigations, he finds himself trapped in a web of lies that ultimately ends with his sudden disappearance and the death of his boss.

Since then, fellow members speculate if he was killed along Kong or if he had something to do with his death.

He wears clothing that follows the triad's wear code, except instead of a jacket, he sports a sleeveless, hooded coat.

His mechanical arms are in full diplay just like his feet, which he uses as weapons to pick objects and what not.

His face is branded with the triad symbol and bioelectric wires that come from inside all the mech parts installed within his body.

Deus Ex: Machine God

He sports a buzzcut with his chiseled chest in full display, all adorned with red-ink tattoos. Unlike the above version, here he isn't augmented.

His face is also branded with the triad symbol, just like all members are.

Personality

A cocky and arrogant young man, in Deus Ex it's due to his fighting prowess and in Machine God due to his intellect and appearance.

In the latter, his vanity is highlighted the first time you encounter him; he's seen admiring his own muscles in the mirror.

He is commited to the laws of the triad and grealty respected the previous leader, Max Chen. After his unjust murder, Wu badly wants revenge by paying back the culprits with the same coin.
