Overview
Born with a congenital disease that weakened and deformed his muscles, Thomas came from an abusive home where his father attempted drowning him multiple times, blaming the child for his mother's premature death.
Due to this condition, he's quite frail with a low threshold tolerance for physical exertion.
During his childhood, he established a long lasting friendship with Jules Ryan, bonding over the rejection they experienced from other kids. Ryan usually defended Thomas, towering over the bullies and easily intimidating them.
At some point, Thomas is adopted by David Sarif, who views him as both his son and nephew. To the public, however, he's known as "Sarif's nephew", founder of the Anti Terrorits Group Black Wings and heir of Sarif Industries.
Appearance
A pale man with multiple scars on his face product of an accident where he fell through a window. It's assumed he lost sight in one eye due to this.
His hair is carefully styled with a white streak and can't be spotted wearing anything but blue suits.
Personality
He's rather shy and soft mannered, always avoiding conflict mostly due to his frail physicality.
For this reason, he thinks of himself as weak and a coward, negative traits he overcomes when he finds himself in the unfortunate situation of saving David's life during the Sons of Eden kidnappings. During said incident, he bravely stands up to Zadkiel Jones, even though a physical confrontation had all the odds staked against him.
It's worth noting he encouraged himself by remembering the faith his mom had in him, always telling him 'he was stronger than what he believed'.
As a child, one of his dreams was helping and saving people in need and thought the best course to accomplish that was becoming a police officer.
But soon he understood such ambition was a chimera due to the limitations his disease imposed on him, plus the overall aversion he felt towards blood and violence. So, at some point, he settled with founding a squad that specialized in fighting terrorism.
Romantically, he's far more outgoing and cuddly, taking the initiative when met with a doubtful Adam. Of note is also the joy he feels spoiling his partner with his cooking.
