This wiki aims to provide a detailed reference for any original characters (OCs) that fans have contributed to the Deus Ex fandom.
This wiki is a non-commercial, community-run archive documenting original characters, fanfiction, fanart, artists, writers, and related fan activity connected to the ''Deus Ex'' fandom.

There have been attempts to archive various Tumblr blogs and fanart, however there has been no effort made to name or organise this information. Until this point, to find anything you would have to scroll through tens of thousands of files. We, however, have already done this and seek to share the findings with others who may be interested.
The project exists to make scattered fan material easier to identify, describe, contextualise, and preserve. Much of this material was originally posted across blogs, social media accounts, archives, image hosts, and other platforms that may no longer be active or easy to search.

Many of the contributors assisting with this project were not within the community at the time of some of the posts, and many people who were originally part of the community have left to pursue other interests. Because of this, we welcome any information or help that will elucidate the context in which these characters or artworks were created.
This wiki focuses on organisation, description, attribution, and historical context. We welcome corrections, additional information, missing context, source links, creator statements, and other contributions that improve the accuracy of the archive.

Many contributors to this wiki were not present in the fandom at the time some material was originally posted. For that reason, community knowledge is valuable. If you created, commissioned, archived, read, followed, or remember any of the works documented here, you are encouraged to help improve the record.
As explained above, many artists have deleted their blogs or moved on, making it extremely difficult to reach out to them. As such, we are usually unable to ask for explicit permission to document their creative contributions. Our approach is just to archive everything first, and then remove or change it if need be later.

About

This wiki is a non-commercial, community-run archive documenting original characters, fanfiction, fanart, artists, writers, and related fan activity connected to the Deus Ex fandom.

The project exists to make scattered fan material easier to identify, describe, contextualise, and preserve. Much of this material was originally posted across blogs, social media accounts, archives, image hosts, and other platforms that may no longer be active or easy to search.

Information for Creators

If you support the project and would like to contribute your characters, artwork, fanfiction details, creator information, source links, corrections, or contextual notes, you may create an account and edit the wiki directly.

If you are a creator whose characters, artwork, writing, profile, or other fan material is documented here, you may contact us to request corrections, attribution changes, redaction, anonymisation, file removal, or other changes.

This wiki is an archival project, so pages are not normally deleted solely because a creator no longer wishes the work to be documented. However, we take privacy, safety, copyright, attribution, and accuracy concerns seriously.

Please see our Content Policy for the full policy and request process.
